This page explains which cookies and similar browser storage TikSift uses, why, and how you can change your choice.
In short
- Storage the site needs to work (your session, settings, library) needs no permission.
- Our ad partners' cookies load only if you allow them: with "Accept", or by turning ads on in "Settings" and saving. In "Settings" ads start off; if you save it that way, they never load.
- You can change your choice at any time under "Cookie settings" at the bottom of the pages.
What a cookie is
Cookies are small files a site saves in your browser. On this page we also call browser storage that does the same job, such as localStorage and IndexedDB, "cookies".
Necessary storage
The site does not work without these; so no permission is asked and they always show as on in "Settings". All of them stay in your browser, for this site only, and are never used for ads or tracking. Legal ground: providing the service (KVKK Art. 5/2-c).

Advertising cookies (with permission)
If you allow it, the ad networks below load to show ads in the app. They are third parties; they use their own cookies to show ads, measure their performance and prevent fraud, and the data goes to their servers abroad. Legal ground: your explicit consent (KVKK Art. 5/1). If you do not allow it, no request goes to any ad network and no ads are shown; the site keeps working with all its features.

No code of an ad network that is not on this list is loaded. If a network is added, this table is updated first and we ask for your permission again.
Ads keep TikSift free. There is no paid plan at the moment; not allowing ads turns off no feature.
The cookie banner
On your first visit a small banner appears in the corner:
- Accept: allows advertising cookies.
- Settings: shows necessary storage (always on) and advertising cookies (off at first) with their descriptions. "Save my choice" allows only what you turned on; "Accept all" allows everything.
Your choice is kept in this browser for a year. When the year is over or this policy changes in substance, we ask again; we do not ask on every visit.
Third-party content
Video covers load from TikTok's content servers. TikTok's own policies apply to these images; while covers load, TikTok is not told which page you came from.
Changing your choice
The "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page on this site opens the settings; if you turn ads off and press "Save my choice", your permission is withdrawn at once and ads do not load (you can delete cookies the ad networks saved earlier from your browser). Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it. You can also delete or block cookies and site data in your browser's settings; if you block necessary storage you cannot sign in.
